Privacy Policy
Shift doesn't collect any data.
There's no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. What you enter stays with you.
What Shift stores
The entries, presets and subjects you create, and your preferences such as colours and language. All of it is stored on your device, by the app, for the app to work.
iCloud sync
If iCloud is turned on for Shift, your entries are also kept in your private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit, so they appear on your other devices. That database belongs to your Apple Account: the developer cannot see or access it. iCloud is provided by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Exports
When you export a month, Shift creates a file on your device. Where it goes next — Files, Mail, anywhere else — is entirely your choice.
Third parties
None. Shift contains no third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services, and sends nothing to the developer or anyone else.
Deleting your data
- Delete individual entries in the app by swiping left on them.
- Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device.
- To remove the iCloud copy, open Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Shift and delete its data.
Children
Shift is suitable for everyone and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
